Tollywood News: The director Gunasekhar’s upcoming mythological drama, Shaakuntalam, starring the actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the main female lead in the movie. The makers officially announced that the much awaiting historical movie is planning to release on 4th November 2022.
Samantha is not very active on social media these days, but she amazed her fans by tweeting, that 4th November it is, thank you for the love. You have always been my strength, Shaakuntalam. And this news is being the discussion among the audience, and her fans are eagerly waiting for the release of this movie that they have started demanding updates from the team.
However, the pressure was so much that the producer of the movie, Neelima Guna had to issue a clarification in August this year that post-production work of the movie was in progress, and the challenging CG complexities were being dealt with good things.

The movie is based on the popular play Shakuntala by Kalidas, and Samantha is playing the titular role and dev Mohan is playing the role of Dushyanta.
